“Kundalini” is an ancient Sanskrit word that literally means “coiled snake”.
In early Eastern religion, long before Buddhism and Hinduism, it was believed that every person has divine energy at the base of the spine.
This energy was considered the sacred energy of creation. We are born with this energy, but it is in a folded, dormant state. We must make efforts to awaken and “unwrap the snake”, which leads to higher spiritual perfection and direct contact with our divine essence.

Kundalini yoga is the practice of awakening your Higher Self, which
allows you to “wake up” the energy in the human body through intensive breathing and motor exercises and start its intensive movement.
Kundalini teaches that each of us has a talent to share with the world. By practicing kundalini, you discover your talents, gain the power of self-expression and the courage to bring your gift to the world.
✨ Classes are often quite intense physical training, but the practitioners treat each movement with calm reverence, so that sometimes it can feel like the practitioner is in the temple, and not in the gym.
