Understanding a girl – Part 1

Understanding a girl has always been a complex thing for men, In this article, we are just going to explore the few POV of girls.

Understanding a girl

The girl does not like to talk about the past, but she also does not like to guess the future. She prefers to live for today, joking that tomorrow is too foggy and you might not live to see it at all.

However, sometimes the memory stubbornly brings her back, leading her through the nooks and crannies in order to remind her of who she is and why she was in the current moment. It’s hard to fight with memory, it throws up fragments when you don’t expect it at all. You can drink tea, think about a new plot, and after a while catch yourself thinking that you are remembering some stupid episode of your own life and cannot understand why it is and right now.

For a girl, this always happens unexpectedly, just at one moment she remembers what she did not want to remember, and then the ball begins to unwind further. She looks at her own hands, bites her lips and dreams of putting it all out of her head, but the memory is cunning to leave her alone.

The girl lives in St. Petersburg and loves this city with all her heart. She knows that she would not trade it for any other, but it cost her a lot of work to be here. The memory does a somersault and returns it a couple of years ago, when the girl no longer hoped for a change. It was a difficult period when thoughts of death visited every other day, and the desire to create disappeared altogether.

And when life got so boring that it was only further out the window, a miracle happened:

she got into a group of one author and something changed. Even if not immediately, but gradually, the girl managed to do the impossible – she suddenly began to create again. First on a voluntary basis, then the desire to write their own texts returned again. The girl found new friends and the support she needed, but was silent, because she was used to keeping everything to herself. So at first, easy communication grew into a strong friendship, and as salvation suddenly sounded: “Buy a ticket, we will accept you and help you in any way we can. Just come.”

The picture is changing again, throwing another couple of years into the past. That was the first attempt to move to St. Petersburg, which turned out to be unsuccessful. The girl does not like to remember this time, but sometimes it is necessary to compare it with the successes of the present. She just graduated from college and is full of ambition, like many other girls who come from small towns for fame and recognition. She thought that the world would submit to her from just a smile, a kind word. The world has shown that this will not happen, and everything is much more complicated than she imagined. Three months of useless fluttering and a return train ticket home. “Kin, meet! Your daughter is a fucking loser!”

I do not want to remember further, but the memory is inexorable. She likes to prolong the agony. The girl sees “school” in the pictures. The one that is almost impossible to get into. At school, they do not teach mathematics with Russian, and there is something frightening in it, but the girl wants to find herself, find her own path, her true destiny. There she remembers her real self, gains strength that one can only dream of, finds friends and enemies. The school completely changes her, replacing her with someone else. So magic comes to the fore, and the girl joyfully falls into its mysterious and dark depths.

The girl never wanted to move from her native south. She can’t stand cold and doesn’t like rain. The girl thinks that her relatives are right, repeating the well-known saying – “where she was born – there she fit in” and does not even dream of getting out of her swamp. The girl writes stories, she does not quite succeed, but she tries very hard to improve her own skills. The first thing she posts online is Harry Potter fan fiction. Not entirely successful, but quickly gaining popularity. This allows you to write with even greater zeal, and then one of the readers suddenly decides to help. Communication develops into friendship, and then she suddenly invites the girl to come to visit. In Saint-Petersburg. The girl does not like this city with its cold climate, rain and winds, so she refuses. The new friend does not lag behind, and after a couple of weeks of persuasion, the girl still buys a plane ticket. She doesn’t like Peter, but a change of scenery will do her good.

Memory rushes on, dragging along like the White Rabbit to Wonderland. The girl, like Alice, looks at herself from the side and tries to get rid of memories of her childhood. She hated her school years and the last thing she wants to think about them again. Memories are unpleasant for her, but they are always there, wherever she goes. They hold them with tentacles and prevent them from breathing deeply. The girl never talks about her own pain and the mockery of her classmates, but her memory throws up these pictures again and again. It was then that the girl suddenly began to write a story in which she put all the pain, tears and experiences. Previously, she could hardly manage to put words into sentences in a school essay, but here there are as many as 250 pages of coherent text.

Pyamyat laughs angrily and rubs his hands. But the girl has nothing to do with her. The path that she went from beginning to beginning, suddenly turned out to be not so terrible. Only now did she suddenly realize that every moment was leading her to her own destiny.
